About Us
We are City on a Hill Las Cruces, a Christian worship ministry that partners with local churches, praise teams, and other Christ-led ministries. Since 2022, our main focus is creating opportunities to praise and worship God in common areas throughout Las Cruces with the purpose of breaking down the walls that separate the body of Christ, and shining Christ's light in our city for the glory of Almighty God, Whom we owe everything to. During these year-round events, we also raise awareness of local under-advertised ministries with the goal of both helping local churches to minister to their constituents and encouraging Christians to partner with those ministries in serving our community.

If you have partnered with us in the past, thank you so much! We have recently had a lot of changes happen within our ministry. With our previous director, Joe Churchman, moving to Albuquerque, we have recently had a change in leadership. Allow us to introduce ourselves! We are Steven and Mikhala (Joe’s daughter). We have been a part of the behind-the-scenes team since the beginning of City on a Hill Las Cruces in July 2022, and have now joined as director and event coordinator, respectively. We have also begun a collaboration with our friends at CrossTown Ministries, as a part of CrossTown Neighbors, to help us better reach our community!
